Bid Writer – M&E Social Housing Contracts

Our Client, a leader in the industry, is seeking 2 x Bid Writers to join their contracting arm, focused on tendering for M&E social housing contracts. If you’re committed to delivering professional services, on time and to budget, while building strong client relationships and minimising environmental impacts, we want to hear from you!
Daily tasks include:
– Plan, produce, and deliver compliant, professionally crafted proposals within customer-defined timeframes, utilising InDesign and Microsoft Word.
– Maintain a network of subject matter experts to enhance and create content as needed.
– Identify and adapt existing pre-written content to suit specific proposal requirements.
– Recognise areas where new content is necessary and develop compelling written materials accordingly.
– Coordinate proposal input, editing, and review from various stakeholders, involving pre-construction, marketing, commercial, and delivery teams.
– Advocate document management and change control best practices.
– Draft questions for PQQ submissions and occasional public sector ITTs.
– Provide advice on flow, language, and grammar to content owners.
– Consolidate and edit sections, answers, and documents from other team members into the required tender format.
– Manage the bid library and collate CV and Case Study information.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in bid writing, with a strong attention to detail is required.
– Demonstrable track record in creating persuasive content for bid submissions is a must.
– Essential experience in either the construction bids or social housing industry is required.
– Experience with Adobe InDesign preferred but not essential.
