The Role:
We are currently seeking a professional Plumber/Trainee Heat Pump Installer who are looking to upskill into Renewables/Heat Pump installations. As a Plumber/Trainee Heat Pump Installer, you will work as part of a team of two to install low carbon technology in customers’ homes – starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
You will also get the opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills from the various training courses provided. You will then use your knowledge and experience of domestic heating and plumbing systems to prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators. This role will also require problem solving skills meaning you’ll anticipate problems and find solutions quickly and efficiently.
Skills/Qualifications Needed:
- Experience in plumbing, with particular expertise in the ‘wet’ side of domestic heating systems, including unvented.
- Customer focus and communication skills
- A proactive ‘can do’ attitude
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
- NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent experience)
- Full, clean driving licence
- WRAS Water Supply Regs or UHW10/HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems are beneficial but not essential!
